Inspiration: This painting was inspired from my original painting “Soul Ties” but I wanted to create something a bit bolder and more intrusive. This painting describes how over the years I have come to understand I get emotionally too attached in the beginning of any new relationship. That has backfired for me because once I realized what I was doing I then immediately tried to correct course and compensate by always being emotionally distant which ends up causing everybody to become upset and frustrated and eventually the new relationships I start to tend to end just as quickly as they started. I wanted to create a painting that shows that through the pain and disco0mfort and uncertainty that there still is beauty to be seen. Let this painting be a reminder to you that there still is plenty of beauty in this world despite your current circumstances.
