Inspiration: The rat race is something all of us either have experienced in our lifetimes or are currently experiencing in our lives. To be a part of something that drains you and leaves you unfulfilled can be a suffocating and terrifying existence. I have dedicated my entire life to the pursuit of my art in an attempt to escape the rat race once and for all. I wanted to create a painting that inspires the viewer to get the strength to escape their own rat race so that they can live a fulfilling life where their soul feels inspired every day that they wake up instead of feeling dead on the inside like I felt for so many years.
